Seed Collecting Workshop

Join Curator Henry Ortmeyer on a walk to find seeds that are ready for harvesting. Learn how to clean seeds, and how to store and plant them. Help us collect seeds that will grow into young plants in our nursery and take some home for your garden.

Serendipity Sunday

Come celebrate autumn with a fun and easy afternoon in the garden! Curator Henry Ortmeyer will lead a walk at 3 pm to admire new acquisitions, newly installed plantings and vistas of amazing fall color.
Browse an interesting collection of plants and bulbs for sale. We’ll serve savory seasonal refreshments in the Sand Barn.
You’re also welcome to just sit and enjoy the landscape. Chill while we grill!

Painting en Plein Air
Wednesday, October 22 1 – 3:30pm
Members, No Charge Guests, $20
Paint along with artist Barry Simon. He’s the most enthusiastic and able painting companion you could find. Two paintings of the garden here show his amazing artistry.
All levels of skill are welcome at this no-stress session, including beginners. All materials will be provided, or you can bring your own.
